What kind of events do you service?

At Vintage Pour, we LOVE a party, especially one with delicious cocktails. We can cater to all kinds of events such as weddings, corporate events, bachelorette/bachelor parties, boozy brunches, retirement parties, baby showers, birthdays, graduations. You name it, we are there !


Do you provide the alcohol?

Due to the liquor licenses in B.C , we are not able to purchase and sell liquor at your event. We do however offer everything else needed for an epic bar experience and will help you with both liquor quantities and an alcohol shopping list. This means you save money by being able to purchase your own alcohol instead of paying on a per drink basis at a licensed venue. Win, win!


How do I know how much alcohol to buy?

When we finalize your custom drink menu we will work with you on alcohol amounts and give you a shopping list to make sure you don’t run out of Rosé for Aunt Susan. Rosé all day baby 💁‍♀️


Do you carry insurance and who is responsible for the liquor license?

Yes, we carry general business insurance and server liquor liability insurance.

The event holder is required to apply for liquor license ( Special Event Permit) via https://specialevents.bcldb.com/ . We will walk you through all the steps!


What is a Responsible Service B.C certificate? Are your bartenders certified?

A responsible service B.C certificate is required for anyone serving alcohol or hosting an event that serves alcohol in B.C. Therefore, if you require a special event permit, you also require a Serving It Right certificate. All of our bartenders are Serving It Right certified.


Can I host a toonie bar?

Absolutely ! We can do anything that complies with the special event permit rules including drink tickets, toonie bar, open bar or cash bar (up to a certain amount).


Our venue already has a bar, can we just hire bartenders?

Yes! If your event is inside or is already equipped with a bar, we have bartender hire only options. Please note this when you submit an inquiry form.


What do you require for set up?

Both our Shasta Mobile Bar and portable bar need flat ground for set up and service and a clear access for set up and break down. Our Shasta mobile bar requires access to power on it’s own circuit ; if your venue does not have electricity we can add a generator to your package for a small fee.


Do you have a plan for bad weather?

We can’t accommodate rain dates due to our advanced booking model. In the event of rain, the host is responsible for having a tent to cover the bar. We are more than happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate sized tent for our camper! That way you can be all cozy drinking a dark and stormy, while it’s dark and stormy 😉


How much does it cost to hire Vintage Pour Mobile Bar?

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Yes, we require a 50% retainer upon booking in order to secure your date. We require the remaining 50% of the payment 30 days prior to your event.
